We don’t need more control.
We don’t need more competition.
We need more courage —
so we can act together.
Especially when no one is in charge.

Brave Space is…

Brave Space is a practice
that empowers you to act
for the common good.

Brave Space is a practice that empowers you to act for the common  good.

It’s about showing up differently –  at work, in your community and at home – so you can create positive change, even in the face of uncertainty and chaos.

Brave Space is also something
you create for others.

Brave Space is also something you create for others.

It’s the container that makes collaboration possible when no one is in charge. It’s needed most in the gaps between institutions and movements, where breakthroughs are possible, urgent, and rarely guaranteed.

In a world where long-established systems and orders are unraveling, our vision of Brave Space is rooted in systems leadership. We also acknowledge and honor the concept’s origins in the fields of justice, equity, and inclusion.

This platform draws from what Patrick Frick and others have learned over twenty-five years of holding brave spaces for tens of thousands of leaders across sectors and around the globe. We’re still learning – and looking forward to learning from you, too.

Brave Space isn’t a solo act. It’s a chorus.

Brave Space is held by a small collective of collaborators who care deeply about holding space for collaboration.

Patrick Frick has spent 25 years orchestrating large-scale collaboration with tens of thousands of leaders across business, philanthropy, government, and civil society. He believes collaboration is our superpower, and when we get it right, it feels like magic.

Zoe Tcholak-Antitch believes in the power of words. For more than 20 years, she’s helped leaders find the language to express their boldest ambitions for change.

Alfredo Carlo turns complexity into clarity – one line at a time. For nearly two decades, he’s used the power of visuals to make ideas visible, shareable, and actionable.

Michel Bachmann helps communities come into being — and stay alive. For years, he’s worked at the intersection of collaboration, culture, and regeneration, supporting people to co-create planetary communities with care, presence, and shared responsibility.
